Spring at the Arboretum...

The theme this spring at the arboretum was

trains...

and flowers...

what more could a girl ask for!?

Going to the zoo...

Daddy had to work over the weekend,

so he took today off and we headed over to the

Ft. Worth Zoo.

Since it was a Monday, there was hardly anyone there

and the weather was perfect!!! {checking out the giraffes with Daddy}

We had a GREAT day!!!

Father's Day at the Aquarium

We saw Howler Monkeys...

a friendly bird...

{actually not so friendly, it snapped at Avery's finger immediatley after the picture was taken!}

lots of fish...

SHARKS...

and a Jaguar...

{that Avery apparently thought she should ride!}

It was a fun and perfect Father's Day!!!

Airplane

Today we took Avery to Founder's Plaza outside DFW airport.

You can watch the planes take off and land and can even hear the control tower.

Really neat!!

We went pretty early in the day, before the TX heat over took us!
