Nope!

But I think my Daddy might be

a kangaroo! Happy Father's Day!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

I asked Avery a few days before Daddy's birthday what we should get him.

She thought for a second and then said "Shoes! Daddy wants shoes!"

So....Daddy got a new pair of his favorite flip-flops, Reefs.

Then I asked her what kind of cake we should make Daddy.

Again, she thought for a second and then said "Green!"

I wondered to myself, how on earth am I going to make a green cake!?

Then it came to me...I'm not!

We went to our favorite local ice cream shop, Milwaukee Joe's

and picked up an Andes Mint ice cream cake!

Green - check!

Yummy - check!

No work for Mommy - double check!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Going to the zoo...

Daddy had to work over the weekend,

so he took today off and we headed over to the

Ft. Worth Zoo.

Since it was a Monday, there was hardly anyone there

and the weather was perfect!!! {checking out the giraffes with Daddy}

We had a GREAT day!!!

So, Avery has discovered some things in our backyard...

1. she can peek through the fence into the neighbors yard

2. the neighbors have a pool

3. she would REALLY like to get in that pool...

Father's Day at the Aquarium

We saw Howler Monkeys...

a friendly bird...

{actually not so friendly, it snapped at Avery's finger immediatley after the picture was taken!}

{that Avery apparently thought she should ride!}

It was a fun and perfect Father's Day!!!
