Christmas Eve we had most of Mike's family over for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner...tamales & Christmas Eve salad!
After dinner, we had Avery open up her gifts from Mommy & Daddy...
we tried to keep it fairly mellow this year.
She got a bunch of books
here she is with Grandma reading Madeline's Christmas{she also got Madeline in America and If You Take a Mouse to the Movies}
Daddy got her a toy trash truck, which she LOVED!!!
and Mommy got her a family band...
here is everyone playing instruments, while Avery danced in the center of the circle and sang Jingle Bells {her favorite Christmas song!}
